History is full of moments that will be remembered for decades, even centuries: the great flood, the birth of Jesus, His crucifixion and resurrection, the Crusades, the 4th of July, Pearl Harbor, and 9/11 just to name a few. These were momentous events that shaped the world we live in today. I would have never fathomed that a 6’6″ convicted criminal would be the cause of another moment in history.

On Friday October 20, 2023, Tucker Carlson posted a new episode of his show on X, in which he talked about some newly unearthed emails between a prosecutor and the medical examiner regarding George Floyd. These contemporaneous emails show that the D.A’s office was well aware that the false public narrative did not match the facts. In his post, he says that “[y]ou’ll be shocked to learn this.” However, anyone who had bothered to look at the coroner’s report back then already knew that the infamous “knee to the neck” was not the cause of death.

On May 25, 2020, police officers Thomas Lane and J Alexander Keung responded to a call regarding a counterfeit bill being used at a convenience store. They arrived to find George Floyd in a car with some other passengers. They proceeded to place Floyd in handcuffs. Officers Derek Chauvin and Tou Thao then arrive to assist in the arrest. A struggle ensues, Floyd is thrown on the ground, and Chauvin places his knee on Floyd’s neck. Floyd is heard screaming that he cannot breathe, and dies minutes later while Chauvin is still on top of him.

Officer Derek Chauvin

That was the narrative at the time, and it is the narrative that many hold on to today. The fact is that the body cam footage clearly showed that Floyd was in distress before he was put on the ground and Chauvin got on top of him. The officers did not use excessive force, nor did they use abusive language against Floyd. They perceived Floyd’s “antics” as resisting arrest, and acted accordingly.

At the time the Floyd thing was going down, I had recorded an episode for my podcast, in which I made the case that 2nd degree murder was not an appropriate charge for what had happened. There was no intent to harm, nor was there an underlying felony committed by Officer Chauvin or the rest of the officers. However, I did believe at the time that 3rd degree murder, which requires depraved indifference, was more fitting, since the officers failed to recognize Floyd was suffering cardiac arrest. To this day, I still believe Officers Chauvin, Lane, Thao, and Keung should have immediately called for medical attention the moment Floyd said he could not breathe; failing to do so showed negligence on their part. But should this negligence count as 2nd degree murder? Absolutely not!

Two years ago, Steven Crowder laid himself on the ground, handcuffed, with two people on top of him, reenacting the Floyd incident. He laid there for the same amount of time as Floyd, and did not die. Many on the left were not happy, because it disproved the narrative. Some even claimed it proved nothing; but it proved plenty.

The left wing media does not want to let go of this narrative. On the “anniversary” of Floyd’s death this year, the AP put out a pathetic “fact-check,” admitting that the coroner’s report said he died of a heart attack, and admitted drugs were found in his system. If you read the report, you will see on page 14 that 11 ng/mL of fentanyl were found in his system, along with other narcotics. This is the contentious part of the cause of death. Is that level of fentanyl enough to have killed him? People seem to go back and forth on that. It certainly did not help his existing health issues (heart issues in particular), and it certainly is enough to raise reasonable doubt; it certainly shows that the knee was not the cause of death.

Toxicology results from George Floyd’s autopsy found in page 14 of the Hennepin County report.

Why did my country have to burn for this? The thrice-damned MN AG KNEW that Floyd had died from a (more than likely drug induced) heart attack! Yet he and the liberal media proceeded to lie and incite violence, and WE, America-first God-fearing PATRIOTS are the ones called insurrectionists and/or terrorists. This gross miscarriage of justice caused great damage to our judicial system. Chauvin is not guilty of 2nd degree murder, and his conviction must be reversed.

Millions of tax payer dollars were wasted paying off the Floyd family, who unscrupulously took advantage of the chaos. They should be forced to pay that back. Billions more were lost with all the damage caused during the “Summer of Love.”

More importantly, the people who were injured, raped, and brutally murdered during the “Summer of Love” paid the highest cost of all for this idiocy; and it is a debt that can never be repaid. All because officers did not recognize a heart attack, death and destruction ensued. Was it worth it?
